I plan on doing my paper on the drinking age. My stance is that it should be lowered. I plan on writing a column about it. Im not 100% sure this is my topic but i am leaning towards it.
This sounds like a good topic, especially for a column written by someone nearing the drinking age. Remember, in a column, you can be more personal than in an editorial, write in the first person, include accounts and interviews with friends or people you know who have an opinion about this issue. You still need to include research and facts to support your stand.
